Sell the private dining, semi-private dining and “buyout” spaces in the hotel outlets.  Provide an exceptional guest experience to all clients and work seamlessly to execute events with the outlet leadership team in a service driven hospitality focused environment.  Guide our team in providing a genuine, efficient, and hospitable experience from beginning to end culminating in memorable experiences.

SALES MANAGER ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with F&B and Hotel leadership to sell our private and semi-private dining areas in our outlets. 
  • Create and drive awareness of the private dining options in the outlets in the community via local outreach.
  • Market the outlets locally in collaboration with the F&B, Sales & Marketing teams.
  • Respond to all leads, conduct site visits and provide clients all menu and pricing information in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure clients wishes are carried through from Site Visits, through EO creation and Event Execution.
  • Collaborate with BOH and FOH team to create thoughtful menus, packages and compelling private event programing and work with leadership day of to ensure clients wishes are met and promote and uphold standards of service. 
  • Create a positive teaching environment encouraging the team to take ownership of the guest experience, learn every day and aspire to do better each day.
  • Lead and direct the team firmly and fairly applying constant, gentle, pressure to hold standards while directing the overall operation, ensuring proficiency and productivity.
  • Coach, mentor and train the team in accordance with our Standards, Steps of Service and Food & Beverage specifications.
  • Ensure the team has all the information, products and tools necessary to be successful.
  • Observe trends and stay current; presenting new thoughts and ideas to the team, resulting in compelling and thoughtful experiences for our guests.
  • Manage the operations as required to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and federal, state and local regulations to ensure an optimal level of service, quality and hospitality are provided to the guest(s).
  • Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the various outlet areas and equipment to protect the assets, comply with policies and procedures and ensure quality service.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 Must have the ability to communicate in English.  Ability to move throughout all food and beverage areas and continuously perform essential job functions.  Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.  Ability to observe and distinguish product quality by smell, taste, and appearance.
