Responsible for auditing daily revenue and producing the revenue report. Verifies the accuracy of sales, telecommunication and occupancy taxes. Prepares miscellaneous income spreadsheet for verification with invoices.

As an Income Auditor, you would be responsible for ensuring audit work is balanced and completed in a timely manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

·      Balance and code prior day's work and prepare daily operating sales and labor summary

·      Ensure the accuracy of night audit and complete sales journal information

·      Review and analyze all adjustments

·      Audit banquet tickets and reconcile to banquet orders

·      Route rebates, miscellaneous charges, promotional tickets and paid-outs

·      Maintain records and file and archive all documents in accordance with tax authority requirements

·      Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.

·      Daily balancing of credit card transaction

·      Daily tracking of in-house complimentary revenues and services.

·      Audit and balance multiple revenue sources to PMS revenue report.

·      Help with billing, collecting and settling of Catering and social event bills.

·      Collect direct deposit for clients stay.

·      Respond and handle all chargeback inquires.

·      Assist with month end closing

Technical Skills: Ability to input and access information into all accounting systems; ability to maintain concentration and think clearly; ability to prioritize, organize and follow-up; ability to promote positive relations with staff; ability to maintain confidentiality of Accounting information; ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision; ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time; ability to focus on details and resolve numerical problems; ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team; ability to perform multiple tasks at one time.
