Airy and welcoming, our restaurant takes its name from the hotels’ legacy as the original site intended for Dallas’ city hall. This buzzing downtown bistro features all day dining and a menu of Southern European inspired cuisine.

The City Hall Delivered Server is responsible for greeting, selling/order taking and serving guests in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures. Knowledgeable on hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate.  Impresses guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant, warm, timely and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
  • Answer all questions about cooking methods, menu items, and prices.
  • Accurate and prompt guest order taking.
  • Have full knowledge of all beverage lists.
  • Prompt submission of food orders with the kitchen in accordance with prescribed procedures.
  • Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Pick up and check food to ascertain appearance, temperature and portions are correct from kitchen.
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
  • Prepare guest checks accurately and present prior to departing guest room.
  • Work a variety of shifts as needed including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
  • Report all tips in compliance with Company policy and IRS regulations.
  • Follow Company, hotel, and brand policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation polices when handling food and beverage.
  • Perform any other duties, as assigned.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • TABC and Food Handlers Certification.
  • Previous food and beverage experience in fine dining or hotel, two years of recent restaurant experience, preferred.
  • High level of reliability.
  • Pleasant personality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
